This particular wedding, out of the (admittingly small number of) weddings we've done so far and definitely out of however many we will do in the future, will always have a unique importance to us.
One reason is that Elise has been a very close, very dear friend for a very long time, so to be there for every moment of her and Colin's big day was a huge thrill. Secondly, it's the first wedding we were ever asked to shoot - this at a time when we really doubted we'd ever get to work as photographers for any kind of thing, let alone a beautiful, perfectly articulated, ecstatic wedding. From the gorgeous winter bouquets to the honeycomb-decked appetizer plates to dancing the rain off our shoes in the great hall, it was a warm and joyous night, full of laughter and love... and a few damp film cameras that powered through all that happy havoc. Have us back anytime, E & C!
